The plan was to go to the Hokudai Test Field and collect samples of my CRISPR Tomato, and store in the the lab freezer for downstream analysis. The weather (snow & rain) defeated my effors to go from 天神山 to 北大 by bike. I’ll try again next week, probably withough the bike.
One goal during the residency is to concentrate on half-finished works and semi-forgotten ideas, and to develop them to a stage where they become anschlussfähig.

I will be an Artist-in-Residence at the Tenjinyama Art Studio in Sapporo from November 5th until December 24th.
The Tenjinyama Art Studio is a programme run by Sapporo City, housed in a former hotel on the top of Mount Tenjin. The space acts as a library, community center, exhibtion space - and residency place for both foreign and domestic artists. Once a month the Art & Breakfast and the Open Studio events.
